Description

Your gift funds training for small farmers in Sri Lanka.  At the training events, they will get seeds and plants as well as learn ways to improve productivity using low-cost agro-ecological methods.  Groups of farmers meet as small groups and can decide on joint projects like setting up a vegetable cooperative.  Produce can be sold or processed into pickles or other food.  When the economy is suffering, they will not go hungry.
