Description

This gift helps stock our “ahead of the need” emergency supply chain, ensuring essential food rations are available for distribution to vulnerable people when disasters strike. Pre-positioning food supplies means assistance can be delivered quickly after an emergency, when communities may be isolated, markets disrupted and normal food supplies unavailable. Rations can provide essential nutrition during the immediate response and recovery period. This gift helps ensure vital food assistance is ready before it is needed, allowing relief teams to respond quickly when disaster affects vulnerable communities
